VIVAT Sir Graedwyn mab Tyrnan, Knight of the Society, who inspired so many in the Gallery and Lists that he was acclaimed the winner of the Amethyst Ring, which prize he determined to gift to his own inspiration, his dear Lady. Sir Graedwyn gained entry to the List of Combattants by the hands of their Excellencies, Byron and Ariella, Baron and Baroness of the Debatable Lands.
VIVANT to all who attended, both in competition and observance. Such Emprises are well worth the moments expended, shared in fellowship and Courtesie that is unique to our Society. All fighters brought their Courage, Prowess and Chivalry before a great and noble Gallery and did acquit themselves most Honorably. The Heavens themselves smiled upon their example with warm air and bright sunshine, upon the first of November in the Debatable Lands. Such displays are hallmarks of what our Society is all about.

The members of Prydeskeep and House Bedford for all their logistic and physical assistance in helping make this happen, without which this Emprise could never have happened.
Most of all, to the Kingdom of Aethelmearc and those attending this event, for being here to share in the Chivalry and display, and inspiring the Combatants in their noble pursuit of excellence on the field.
And always, to my family, for their constant support and understanding.
I will never be able to list out everyone who helped this event take form over the last year, but I wish to express my most heartfelt thanks to you all,

Unto all good gentles of Noble Aethelmearc, from Syr Malcolm, Duke Prydeskeep, comes greetings and warm wishes.
From a great desire to become acquainted with and witness to acts of great Prowess and reknown, let be called throughout the Sovereign Lands of Aethelmearc and all her neighbors that there is to be held a great Emprise upon the first day of November, Anno Societatis Forty Three. Wherein do we propose to challenge all Good Knights, esquires and gallant men and women of Arms, that they may seek throughout the Kingdom of Aethelmearc to perform chivalrous deeds of Prowess and Courtesy, and by so doing earn through their exemplary skill a Docket of Invitation to The Amethyst Invitational Tourney, a competition to be held in the manner and spirit of the great Tourneys of Reknown of the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Centuries.
Invitations have been carried throughout the land, far and wide. In all, our Heralds have supplied unto the populace Thirty two of these invitations, and thus shall The Emprise have exactly that many entrants. Upon the glorious day, where all Honor will be made to Crown and Country, the bearers of these invitations shall be permitted to present their dockets to the Master of the Lists, and have their helm entered upon the Rail for inspection and inclusion.
There after, having had full inspection of armor and presence, and binding by oath to do all good combat and bring no malice unto the List of Glory, shall the entrants prepare for a double elimination tourney in the a-outrance style, wherein a single telling blow shall determine the victor and vanquished for the bouts.
We do encourage all who would partake of the Glory of Chivalric Combat and Prowess, do attend upon these valiant Combattants, sharing a day of Honor, Pageantry, Fellowship and Courtesy. Refreshements are the course of Hospitality and will be provided throughout the day. Please do bring all manner of Banners and heraldic display, and we do greatly encourage the populace to come and fill the gallery with cheer and enthusiasm for the skill and enterprise of these worthy entrants.
We would note that it is meet and right that should we see acts of Reknown that they be rewarded with tokens of esteem. Thus do we also encourage the populace to bring some manner of object or item with which you can bestow these honors and thanks.
